Brett’s keynotes are high‑energy, visually rich and highly interactive.

His presentations lean heavily on strong audio, crisp visuals, and a clean stage layout to create an immersive experience for audiences and event partners.

Brett prefers to present slides from the on site laptop integrated with the venue’s AV equipment. This allows for smooth transition between speakers and ensure consistent technology running the entire event.

Presentations typically run from PowerPoint for maximum visual quality, smooth transitions, and reliable embedded video playback.

If PowerPoint is not available and an alternate slide format is required for your event, please notify Brett at least five business days prior so the presentation can be converted and tested.

Technical Requirements

📽️ Visual

  • High‑definition projector or LED screen
  • Minimum resolution: 1080p (1920 × 1080)
  • Please ensure the screen is large enough for audience size and room layout — Brett’s slides are highly visual with fine‑detail imagery.
  • Brett’s slides frequently contain small videos with or without audio tracks for the audience to engage with. This is dependent on the presentation and your brief.
  • Brett will inform the event organiser in advance of presentation content requiring video and audio playback. This information must be past on to the event’s AV crew to ensure appropriate solutions are in place.
  • HDMI input preferred (adapters supplied if required)
  • Confidence monitor (not essential but strongly preferred) positioned:
    • At stage front
    • Showing current slide, next slide, and timer (if supported)

🔊 Audio

  • Professional‑quality in‑house PA system
  • Audio feed run directly from the presentation laptop to the venue AV to ensure any presentation content incorporated audio is heard within the venue
  • Audio check 30–60 minutes before showtime is ideal
  • Brett uses embedded video and sound elements — clear audio is essential

🎤 Microphone
Preferred microphone options (in order):

  • Headset microphone (Countryman‑style or equivalent)
  • Lavalier (lapel) microphone
  • Handheld microphone (only if no other option is available)

Brett is highly mobile on stage, so a headset mic provides the best experience.

🖥️ Laptop & Clicker
Brett will bring:

  • Windows 11 laptop
  • USB‑C or HDMI adaptors
  • Backup of the presentation on USB

Presentations are run from the venue’s event laptop and coordinated with the on site AV team.

NOTE: If Brett is required to run the presentation directly from his laptop advance notice is required.

Stage Setup

  • Stage area clear of lectern/podium (please remove if possible)
  • Space to move freely — Brett uses movement to engage the room
  • Two bottles of still, room‑temperature water on stage
  • Small table or stool at stage edge (optional) for backups/equipment
  • Lighting: bright and even across the front half of the stage to support audience engagement and video recording
  • Brett’s preference is to the stage to be clear of podiums or a lectern during the presentation. If one is present for the sessions before or after Brett requests that this be moved to the side of stage where possible.

Run-of-Show & Prep

  • Brett is available for a tech check or sound check prior to the event
  • If your event uses a stage manager or showcaller, please introduce them ahead of time
  • If you’re running multiple speakers, please inform Brett of the schedule so he can coordinate transitions and energy flow with your team
